Touching Ads

I came across this video on Youtube and it was a Thai Life Insurance advertisement. I decided to watch it because the comments say it was sad and they cried. I didn't believe them at first, but then when I saw the video myself, I was crying. It really makes you think about the people you love. WARNING: SAD

The video below is even more sad (in my opinion). I'm not going to give out spoilers kekeke!

Now, the video below is one of my favorites because it really gives hope to those...not giving out spoilers.

You can see more of these ads if you search "Thai Life Insurance Ads". It will really make you think about life (considering it's a life insurance ad). Then again, there are other ads (other than life insurance ads), that will make you cry or not. The ad below is Malaysian and yes, I do cry over coffee ads.

Speaking of Malaysian advertisements, I really like those Petronas ads about the Chinese New Year because it's really touching. Uh...I guess you're thinking that I'm a weird person for watching these ads, but it really changes your mind. One of my favorite ads, is the one about Deepavali or Diwali (a holiday in India). It made me feel really good about myself.

Then there's this Singaporean ad about teaching. It wasn't sad, but yeah, I'm just going to post it.

So, it made me think about my teachers and the sad thing is, not many teachers are like that anymore. The only teacher I could think of that's close to like Mrs. Chong (the teacher in the video), is my violin teacher Ms. Katie (she's Korean and very Asian crazy) and my old teachers back in the Philippines (me and my teachers are like best friends). Finally, there was this Thai shampoo ad that made me feel better about my "imperefections". The ad is about a deaf girl who wants to play violin and...just watch the video if you want to know what happens :)

You might think I'm a weirdo for watching these ads. Oh well, I just did and wow! Asians (including me) are getting really creative with advertising. Make more! Make more!
